Has anybody taken notice that this new millenium's fashion is an overall summary of all of fashions "best" mixed into one whole new and futuristic look? How amazing is this? I'm curious to know if it's because fashion designers are scared the world is going to end, therefore needing to teach the world a quick history lession on fashion so we can reminice on how amazing those past years have been-- or a history lesson for the foolish young ones of this generation. We are left to be in awe and amazement as we check out the past fashions that look so yummy and delicious from back then.
The great thing about this, is that we can go out in public in clothes that were considered too "vintage" or out of style and not be made fun of. Who doesn't love the gloves and high-waisted dresses from the 40's and 50's? Now we can walk out with those beautiful clothing and not be made fun of by being told it's not halloween yet.
Lame much? I know. But hey, now the question is "what the hect is the next step in fashion"? No, I'm serious, what is it going to be? Designers have been pushing the futuristic, robotic look, but is that what the next decade's fashion is going to be? This is all too exciting, really. I mean, I guess we can't really predict anything because how could designers in the 50's predict the eccentric styles of the 80's, or the grunge style from the 90's.
It's too hard to predict.
